Its Grill Room (now Oscar Wilde Lounge) saw historic moments—including Wilde’s fateful libel case advice in 1895
The building is Grade II listed; its original Victorian interiors—with gilded ceilings, ornate mirrors, and marble—were meticulously restored during its transformation into a luxury hotel (2008–2012)
